Mima Eden - Artist Statement
Making our mark, however small, has always been the impulse of the human - on the land, on the architecture, and on our bodies. I am endlessly interested in our desire to record, to tell our stories, and to express ourselves through making. Through collective craft knowledge, and personal experimentation I employ the repetitious, meditative, and laborious processes of weaving to create narrative artifacts of the human experience.
